What this site collects, and what it doesn't.

Who is responsible

What we collect
Contact form
Name, email address, company (optional), the topic you pick, and your message — only what you type. We use it to answer you and, if it comes to that, to prepare an offer. Nothing else. No newsletter, no sharing, no profiling.
Form submissions are delivered by Static Forms (staticforms.dev), a form-backend service that forwards your message to us by email and keeps a copy in its inbox for our access. Static Forms acts as our processor.
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and for up to 24 months afterwards, then delete them. If an engagement follows, the ordinary retention duties for business records apply (10 years under Swiss law).
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., with Cloudflare Germany GmbH for European customers) from its edge network, including locations in Switzerland. Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages and defend against abuse — IP address, request URL, browser and system type, timestamp — in short-lived logs. Cloudflare is our processor under its standard data processing terms.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint devices and does not track individuals across sites. It counts page views and measures page speed in aggregate. That is the only analytics on this site.
Language preference
If you switch language with the DE/EN control, a single cookie named lang remembers your choice for one year. It contains only the value de or en and is not used for anything else. Without that cookie, the site shows the language your browser asks for.
What we don't do
- No advertising or marketing cookies, no Google Analytics, no social-media pixels.
- No fonts or scripts loaded from Google or other third parties — fonts are served from this site.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
Where your data is processed
Cloudflare and Static Forms may process data outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Transfers rely on the recognised safeguards for each provider (Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework participation and/or standard contractual clauses). If that matters for your enquiry, say so in your message and we will find another channel.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing, and — for data you gave us — receive it in a portable format. Use the contact form or write to the address above. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, to your local supervisory authority.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
